It is with very great regret that we have to report the sudden death of Richard Miall who collapsed and died on Monday as he was riding home from work. He pushed off in the 18K event and again as late as last Saturday in Geoff Newsome's 25. He was always ready at a moments notice to help out in any capacity at any event even though he was not a member of any of our organisations. He was the Yorkshire CTC treasurer, and Teresa his wife is the Yorkshire CTC secretary . Our condolences go out to Teresa and her young son David and daughter Elizabeth.
We will post more information as we receive it

18K RESULTS
Once again the weather was with us but the wind seems to have a mind of it's own making it cool on what would have been a warm afternoon. South Pennine RC dominated the top two places with Ron Hallam doing a 29m 2Os to give him a plus of 9m 4s followed by Ken Stevens with a 29m 39s ride to give him a 8m 45s plus. Alan West came 4th with a 25m 32s ride giving him a plus of 8m 7s and winner of the Ron Blythe Memorial Trophy. Our new members to the Nth Mids were also in prominence with John Mould doing a 30m 9s ride to get a plus of 7m 57 and 5th place overall. Not much further down was John's club mate Ted Bark 18th place with 31m 4s and a plus of 5m 35s.
Rutland CC won the BOS team with a plus of 21m 55s. Our new lady member also did a creditable ride of 29m 27s and gained a plus of 1m 12s which for a 42year old is quite good, we shall see as the season progresses. CLICK TITLE ABOVE TO VIEW RESULT SHEET

NMCF 25 MILE TT
Don't forget the NMCF 25 on the 28th March start time 14.00 hrs on the O25/11 course at Hatfield. It's almost certain that all the vets will get a ride as only 57 entries were received last year and at the moment Geoff has only 5 entries this year but the closing date is not until 17th March
