VTTA MID WEEK SERIES

Six riders today and we all kept dry, a cool breeze across the course. Two new faces on the start line - Barry Ferguson a fixed wheel man from the Rutland rode 82 inch gear and did a great ride, Clive Tomblin was the other fixed wheel rider - he came out to help out with the event but was persuaded to ride round - he only had 69 inch gear, so his time was quite acceptable. Daryl May gave us a little hope as he rode out to the event on his training bike complete with mudguards, but he still managed to finish on top of the pile of fastest on actual.
