- NORTH MIDLANDS MIDWEEK TIME TRIALS ON THE RANSKILL 9.3 MILE CIRCUIT
- A SERIES OF TEN EVENTS STARTING 3rd JUNE 2009

- HANDICAP MEDAL FOR THE SERIES WINNER
- RULES FOR THE HANDICAP COMPETITION
- 1, The scratch mark for handicapping will be 20mins 00secs.
- 2, The rider's first event will be handicapped on their fastest 10 mile TT in the last 3 years.
- 3, The last placed rider will receive 1 point and every place above that will gain 1 point per place.
- 4, For the remaining events riders will be handicapped on their fastest time on the Ranskill course
- 5, All competitors will receive their handicap when they sign on
- 6, IF LESS THAN TEN RIDERS JUST A FIRST PLACE MEDAL WILL BE AWARDED. IF UP TO 15 RIDERS, A SECOND PLACE MEDAL WILL BE AWARDED. IF UP TO 20 RIDERS, A THIRD PLACE MEDAL WILL ALSO BE AWARDED. THIS WILL BE BASED ON THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF RIDERS PER EVENT IN THE SERIES. PROMOTER: N. HOWARTH, SHEFFIELD PHOENIX C.C. FOR THE NORTH MIDLAND V.T.T.A
- PARKING. On the A638 at Ranskill south of the traffic lights, on the left hand side towards Retford, and north of the cemetery gate. The start is ten metres passed the cemetery gates.
- COURSE. Start on the A638 just past the cemetery gates. Proceed south on the A638 towards Retford. At Sutton Railway Bridge take your next left turn (TAKE GREAT CARE, the road comes back on itself). Proceed through Sutton cum Lound to Mattersey. At the T junction turn left toward Ranskill. The finish is just before the railway bridge approaching Ranskill. 9.3. miles.
- RACE FEE. £2 PER RIDE, including C.T.T. race levy
- MARSHALS, Anyone who can help to make this series a success and is willing to give a hand it will be appreciated. Also, if anyone would like to assist the time keeper and try their hand at it come and join us, you are all welcome.
- THE EVENT DATES ARE: June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, July 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, Aug 5th.
- THE START TIME IS 14.00 hours EACH WEDNESDAY.
